Those who Celebrated Holidays 2009 enjoyed themselves and are already rebooking 2010!
Jeff Werner did most of the few larger events in the area again this December!
Silicon Valley Bank and over 800 guests packed the dance floor and rebooked in December 2010 already with Bay Area DJ Jeff Werner and his 3200 watt sound system at The Burlingame Hyatt Grand Ballroom!

Bay Area DJ Jeff Werner has learned and developed great options in event flow techniques offering you many options in creating your event's success!
At a Bar or Bat Mitzvah or Wedding it is important to have action flow right from the start including all important equipment and table set up so everything develops and sustains event flow and success.

Initial activity leading to a short initial dance set initializes your event and establishes event energy right from the start!
Initial activity might be a welcome and or H'motze or Havdalah at a Jewish Bar or Bat Mitzvah, followed by Israeli Dancing!
At a Wedding it might be a Welcome, Bridal Party Intros, and an initial Dance set at the beginning of your event!
Salads are set during dancing and always one piece of event leads right into another. Simple and effective!
If event food service is an abundant buffet versus an elegant sit down meal it is possible to dance one group while another is directed to the buffet. It is impossible to serve everyone at once and dancing music at a lower volume allows another great festive option!

These basic ideas will be developed further on this blog!

Saturday was another HUGE success for Jeff Werner and his DJ daughter Katie and crew (Thanks Stacy Steadman) as 700+ Leigh High Student's Celebrated Homecoming 2009 dancing the night away!
4000 Quadrophonic Watts of POWER Lit the Dance Party on FIRE with scented Smoke and Lights plus NON stop Club style smooth mixes all night long!

Carlton Elementary School Walk-A-Thon Makes over $42K and Bay Area DJ's Jeff and Katie Werner MC/DJ!

Thank you again. It is good news, we netted over $42K! ..., Considering last year went down to $32,000, and we really didn't know what to expect this year. You guys did a great job again this year, and it was a hot one (Weather over 100 degrees end of September).

I am excited to almost be over with it, Friday was our awards assembly, so the walk a thon is basically done. Today was the last day of our fall softball season. A fun halloween tournament to end it all in Salinas, and Marissa, my 7th grader made the Union 7th grade bball team, so we move into that sport for the next 6 weeks.

Stay well, and we will see you again later this year, I'm sure. We might be considering a Friday afternoon, early evening walk a thon next year, is your schedule open to that?

Thank you SO MUCH (and thanks to Katie too!) for the amazing job you did on Sunday. Everything flowed perfectly, and the energy throughout the evening was perfect. I can't tell you how many people have commented to us about how great the energy of the room was and how much fun the dancing was. I'll admit I was surprised by the hora... I think your Jewish set has expanded over the years! It was great though... it was so wonderful to have everyone up and moving. Charles (the photographer) posted some teaser photos on facebook, I know you saw them already but the link is below just in case you want it.
Anyway, thank you again, everything was perfect! I'm still basking in that post-wedding glow.

Bay Area DJ Jeff Werner was responsible for Saturday Night Success with another elegant Wedding this week at
Saratoga Country Club www.SaratogaCC.com Newer remodel of this facility and new staff additions made it a great venue.
The atmosphere, Food, and Service were exceptional. Our client had and elegant and very fun time dancing together!

There are certain timing and agenda items dictated at Saratoga Country Club that limit professional timing options I offer clients including no dancing up front upon introducing The Bride and Groom while salads are set or no dancing between courses while Salad plates are cleared. These are simple and powerful tools that benefit everyone involved including clients and all vendors.
I know how to make these options work every time as an enhancement to each event.
Last weeks Wedding Caterer, Wild Tyme Catering and Event Management of Walnut Creek, www.WildThymeCatering.com loved this between course dancing feature while they did their work.
I sat everyone back down at exactly the right time! I always do. This sets the celebration scenario including dancing right up front.

Wedding Photographer Joe Homsy www.HomsyPhotography.com is excellent with great equipment and talent.
He was enjoyable to work with.

In the same week I was blessed with two clients whose events came from Family events with the same people that date back 18 years. Great effective events and careful communication insures each event has just the right balance of your agenda/timing and music!
The same week also had me working with Apple iTunes at www.Saratoga-Springs.com and our work together produced a successful interactive Team Celebration as Apple iTunes celebrated their successful release of new iTunes software!

Wedding Sunday October 4, 2009

Sunday I did a Wedding as DJ/MC for a client whose Bat Mitzvah I did over 16 years ago.
The Wedding Ceremony and Reception were at Dunsmuir House in Oakland and 180 attended!
I have done over 40 events for this family's Havarah (Jewish Family Group) and friends all on referral over the past 16 years.

The Ceremony was lovely outdoors on a lawn beneath trees next to a pond and my music was very nice... (Acoustic Guitar and Piano pre ceremony and Vivaldi, "Autumn" (Huppa, Grandparents, Groom's Parents, and Bridal Party) and Puccini, Oh Mio Babinno Caro (Bride and her Parents escorting) as processional music.

My new studio monitor quality sound system is crystal clear with live digital sound also controls a wireless lapel mic on the Rabbi which also picked up ambiant responses by Bride and Groom and wireless mic for readings and vows during Ceremony.
The recessional was also excellent, Pete Townshend's (Of The Who), "Let my love open the door to your heart!"

The cocktail hour music system was preset as was third system inside for reception!
Dancing was done right from the start after introducing The Bride and Groom and more dancing between Salads and Entre was also a hit and all coordinated with The Caterer, Wylde Thyme Catering. www.WyldeThymeCatering.com (Sally Van Slyke, Owner)
They danced until 11pm when we had to clean up and be out before midnight!
The event was another complete success from begining to end as discussed and planned in detail, in advance!

I attended a wonderful networking event last night at Montalvo in Saratoga, California!

Montalvo is a 100 year old beautiful mansion in wooded cozy upscale Saratoga, California.
The event was hosted by NACE, The National Association of Catering Executives, organization and my being in the entertainment and edutainment business makes networking with Catering and Sales Professionals, Event Planners, and other related Professionals, an important investment.

The event was catered by the 5 Star restaurant Le Papillon of Saratoga Ave. and 280 fame. The food was outrageous and beautifully presented as a 3 course dinner after fabulous hordourves with Eulipia Bar and great wine and other beverages.

Met many new faces in business and enjoyed the entire evening!
I recommend anyone in The Food, Catering, Event Planning, and any related field serving shared clients consider joining NACE.

Past two weeks events have been special!

Last few weeks have been amazingly busy THANK GOD!
Actually did a Family Event for Guitar Hero and Linkedin at end of August and those people are awesome and no wonder they are also successful!
Last week it was a Celebration event for City Team Ministries and the Senior Class of 2010 of Milpitas High and finally a great software development pre IPO named Electric Cloud!

This week I have a Leigh High Leadership event and NACE event and look forward to networking and creating new opportunities plus doing loads of follow up work as always!

Just booked another Bat Mitzvah for March, 2011, and a May 8, 2010 wedding at The Mountain Winery!

Last night marked my second event this busy week. Tuesday it was a Free Music Lunch Celebrating Leigh High's first day of school and our full year contract to provide Music and Leadership experience for the students who are INCREDIBLE!

Last night was our Pre Holiday Vendor Fair at www.DannyThomasPartyRentals.com in Sunnyvale together with www.ThePartyHelpers.com The Ultimate in Catering, Eulipia Bar and Restaurant provided our awesome bar, AMB Productions Balloons and Decor, Bloomsters Florist Unbelieveably Creative Floral Display, Corinthian Parking, and more.

Over 300 attended as we thanked our Social and Corporate Clients with an outstanding Social event with atmosphere, Food, Music, and even my Game Show.

Thanks to my partner John Gomez, and assistant Katie Werner for your support as we supported "The A Team" in Catering and Celebration Services. Nice to be a part of Silicon Valley's "A" Team! Thanks all!

Tomorrow it is Brocade Corporation during the day and Guitar Hero's Red Octane Corp at night.
